Some of the bands that I understand will be at the fest Bloc Party (gonna check them out),  Iggy Pop (uh?  why?), The Walkmen, The Futurists  (www.myspace.com/thefuturists), Snowden, plus/minus (www.myspace.com/plusminusband), and a couple of other bands I'm not sure I've ever heard of.  I'm really looking forward to it... get a chance to get out and listen to good music surrounded by awesome folks.

Ghostland Observatory

The Rolling Stones are in concert tonight at Zilker Park here in Austin.  SInce the tickets are too expensive to purchase off of Ticketmasters website, we're hoping we'll be able to find some from the grounds...  Yes, it isnt the most legal thing to do.  It wont be a setback if we cant purchase them - we'll do like a lot of Austinites are doing tonight - we'll set up camp in the park and listen to the music.   I believe we're all excited about the event.  A number of us are going... it's a once in a lifetime chance.
